HEBDEN BRIDGE STATION

Local buses and taxis

The railway station is within easy walking distance of the town centre:

From the station forecourt, walk past the bus stop and over the river bridge. On the left there is a pedestrian route through the park which will take you to the town centre. Alternatively, follow the road to the junction with the main A646. Turn left onto the main road, crossing to the other side at the pedestrian crossing because otherwise the footpath runs out. The town centre is in a few hundred yards to the right of the main road.

Bus services

There are three local bus operators:

Firstbus, which operates the services from Halifax via Hebden Bridge and Todmorden to Burnley or Rochdale. These buses do not call at the Station; the nearest stops are at the end of Station Road on Burnley Road, or in the town centre.
TLC Travel, which operates the smaller local buses to the hilltop villages, the larger housing estates and also a service via Cragg Vale to Huddersfield. Many of these buses call at the station. Route numbers are 595-599.Services 594 to 597 operate to/from the railway station.

Keighley Bus Company which operates the Bronte Bus service 500 to Keighley via Haworth. This service calls at the station.
